Yay! I'm finally recognized as a member (that was starting to piss me off...)

Anyways, I've recently been getting back into drawing (because my pictures have stopped sucking for once!) and so I've been doing nice sketches of different manga.

So, I've got a sketch that I would like opinions/criticism, for any who would like to offer. (Special Thanx to MegaTokyo)

that looks really cool. how long did it take you? if not too long, you should market your ability. draw a comic, maybe? talk to succatash about the marketing thing. he's a genius.

That sketch took me about an hour.

I'd love to actually start a comic online or whatnot, but at the moment, I'm only decent at sketches, and have yet to actually come up with anything original that looks good.

I'll put up another thread when I do something that I feel won't get immeadiately slaughtered by the general public.

Nicely done! Good composition, use of form and shading...you created a mood of sadness here, or even forboding, depending on the point of view.

Have you seen the "How To Draw Manga" books? I don't do anime myself, but I've checked them out and they're excellent instruction manuals that should give you a leg up. You've got a GREAT start here. All you need to do now is practice, practice, practice and practice some more.
