why are people complaining about the fact that a special edition might be released in the future? buy it on Dec. 20th, buy the new edition when it comes out and you'll have a copy to pass around!

This is just the Region 1 release. No date has currently been set for the Region 2 release. Since Universal have now announced the Region 1 release I doubt we're getting it here in Region2land before Xmas or they'd have announced it for us too :(

No need to worry guys!! Amazon always does that to show how much the customer is suposedly saving. It will sell for around $15 the first week of its release at stores such as circuit city, best buy, walmart, and etc. Then, it will go up tp around $20 after that.
I think Serenity will do very well on DVD. So many fans will buy it for their loved ones as well as copies for themselves.
