My quote is from the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy Radio series. Not sure if it's in the books too - can't remember. Don't know if you have come across Hitch Hikers much? Anyways i'm a big fan, the new film was a bit disappointing for me - the radio programme is much funnier in my opinion, so check it out if you ever get the chance - sure you can buy it on CD now, i still have my tapes at the mo!

Hmmm - I was supposed to be going on a little holiday, but now my stupid friends have to work. So it'll prolly be just going out for supper. Oh well. At least I get lots of shiny presents! I'm turning 21, and that's bad enough for me, I can't imagine what turning 28 must feel like!

I haven't heard the radio programs. Now I've got one more thing to add to my Christmas list!!

Wo, wo wo! ah to be 21 again! That's a great age, why you're still a young cubby gorram it! I say ditch those friends and make new ones - i'd come out with ya but mite be a bit of a trip for me - plus as you've pointed at 28 i'm practically on the sh*t heap ;).
Things get better as you get older - honest! Y'know how they say school was the best days of your life? Well i say that is rubbish - it was hella-bad, and now i can enjoy just being my odd self without worrying about fitting in! hurrah to the adult indpendance!
Have a great birthday whatever you do and don't just dismiss it - celebrate your special day that's all about you!

Hey miss - you've got to check those radio programmes out - that was how i first discovered Mr.Adams. His writing is soo funny - but the actors deliveries make it for me!
