I didn't think so many people didn't like the cover art. Its not that bad. Just be happy its coming earlier than a lot of other movies do. Only 50 days.
I'll be at the store as soon as it opens that morning and buy it my own damn self. Screw waiting the 5 days for Christmas. I'm already going through withdraws, as its no longer playing in my city. Hasn't been for 2 weeks. So December 20th is going to be a happy, joyous day.

heh....I don’t know if this has been mentioned yet but did anybody notice how huge Serenity is in comparison to all the Alliance and Reaver ships(top right corner of the DVD box) ......that’s not really how I remember it.....but ya know...im good with that too.....

In Seattle, at a lot of video stores here, there are already a HUGE collection of movies for the PSP.

I'm just a bit curious as to how many of you are going to be watching the BDDVD cover when you could be watching the BDM? It's a DVD cover!!!

But the cover makes it look like a cheap B movie, and put together by a High School photoshop user. Someone is more likely to pick it up out of sheer curiosity if it catches their eye.
I can't see anyone looking at the cover and thinking of a big, epic movie.

Howdy doo, whoa - that is one busy cover! great to see that news of the DVD is being released in time for all those Serenity/FF Withdrawl symptomatics out there! (that does included me!)
Unfortunately i'm on the other side of the pond and awaiting a R2 release which i have found on Amazon, but the artwork is different - not sure if it will stay this way but i don't know if i prefer it or not, wasn't sure about the posters when they first came out, but having seen the movie they kind of grew on me. Guess they are appealing to different styles of audience???

Nah no way is that our Region 2 box art, it's just a placeholder image.
Most likely we'll get a more subdued cover, probably less glitzy and might just be the logo on a black background or something. We often get very different covers to our American cousins who seem to favour the bold in-your-face designs (or so the marketing people think anyway).
