Everyone knows the opening theme is awesome

But I really, and I mean REALLY enjoyed the music in 'Objects in Space'

So I was wondering if there was a soundtrack for Firefly or Serenity coming out or already out

Not only will you find a complete, often overpriced, "Serenity" ST in existence, although, sad to say, according to the highest authoirites it does NOT...

what's more, "amazon.com" insists that a "Firefly" TV-show soundtrack is coming out soon. Just go there and ask for things of a "Serenity"-ish nature & they'll spiel ya, thanks to all that preference-tracking fuzzy-logic crap they subscribe to.

You can download a Firefly soundtrack from Fox Music ( www.foxmusic.com) -- 17 mp3s for ten bucks. It's not bad, but it has a couple glaring omissions -- notably the instrumental version of the main theme (closing credits music) and some incidental music (like the dance from Safe).

Also, I had some trouble getting the download to work right. It might be better to wait for the CD, or preorder it.

Wait for the CD - which is released 8th November. The foxmusic site was a con to get our money twice. It fails to mention the fact that it is not the full soundtrack - having only 17 of the 25 tracks.
