I've seen a few titles. (Akira, BubbleGum Crisis/Crash, Cowboy Bebop, GunSmith Cats etc) Although I haven't really seen enough of it.
Have to do something about that methinks. 
The storytelling is excellent and the animation is stunning though.

you already seen 3 of the titles i would suggest (BB crisis, cowboy bebop, Gunsmith Cats)
i would also suggest, 08th MS Team , Trigun, Outlaw Star, Love Hina is good for storytelling and humor even if its ment for girls... ummm what else... i like 12 kingdoms, Rurouni Kenshin is a good show just long ( i havn't seen all of it , its like 5 seasons) theres a couple others but i can't remember.
also what anime is 'etc' is it a good one?

I dated a guy once that was really into anime and he made me a tape to watch and I watched it and now I don't like anime.
Cowboy bebop bothered me, except that one episode where they eat the mushrooms (funny!) and outlaw star wasn't bad. But the rest-I just don't get the draw.

My definite favorite anime (which I have mentioned on other threads) is Inuyasha. It's got a great storyline, is very funny, etc, etc. Methinks I must now go on an anime buying spree (as soon as I have extra money to waste on shiny things.) Anyway, be sure to check Inuyasha out -- you won't be disappointed, especially once it gets into the second season.

CMS- I'll explain why anime "draws" me. In my mind, it's a lot like Firefly. It's visually stunning (in a different fashion); it's got elements of fantasy (which is similar to sci-fi); there's lots of humor; there's well-written, episodic story lines; there's touches of romance (which a girl can always appreciate :)); and there's a very real sense of family, that these people care about each other. Whew. Well I've made my case for another of my favorite shows.

Oh, I read the troll thread you posted earlier. It made me mad. Not the whole death of Wash debate, but because first they were flaming you and I was all "Nobody talks to my Matty that way!!!" and then they attacked Rel and I was like, "OH NO THEY DIDN'T" and THEN they started going after Sean and I was like "Do I have to kill them now? They may just need to die." But you men can all handle yourselves. Plus, my favourite SuperHero, SerenityPunk (dum dum da DUM) stopped in and saved the day anyway.
Still, don't like people who mess with my men.
