Hmmm . . . I've figured out the tag, but my shiny avatar doesn't appear to be working. Oh well.
So, you wanna know my own conversion story, huh? Well (deep breath) I watch movies all the time, and one day I was at the movies and saw a preview for Serenity. (btw I had never heard of Firefly before this.) I thought from the start that it looked totally cool, then was even more interested when they said it was by Joss. Then my cuz says that Joss supposedly stopped making Angel/Buffy to do a new TV show and she thought that was it. I said it looked like a movie to me. Then Space channel had a Labor Day Joss-a-thon where they aired the entire series of Firefly shortly after this. My bro's girlfriend mentioned that Firefly was kinda the prequel to Serenity, so when I finally got up on Labor Day, I started watching. My first ep was Bushwhacked. I was completely hooked. I bought the DVD box set the next weekend and have since watched them about 4 times each, and of course the movie as well. Then i discovered this awesome site. Phew. I guess that's it.

Queenie (I hope you don't mind the nickname, it's quicker than QueenoftheNorth and prettier that QOTN) I FINALLY read your skit and it's very amusing. AND, best of all (IMHO) a person named Rabit thanked you for making them laugh and spreading the randomness. Which is exactly the point of our initiations.
