Radiohead. Occasionally other stuff but then I feel unfaithful to them.

I do like these threads...but as soon as someone asks what my ten fav colours are I'm outta here...

But back to music:

1. Linkin Park - anything by them
2. The Prodigy
3. Nickelback
4. Sarah McLachlan - she's not boring!!
5. Ella Fitzgerald
6. Depeche Mode - spot the 80's child
7. Mr Mister - again with the 80's
8. Don Henley - he was 80's for me but 70's for others
9. Alanis Morrisette
10. KD Lang

Well, if that lot ain't eclectic I don't know what is.

There's a couple in there that really show my age. And a lot of them are 'emotive' for me, e.g. Linkin Park put me in a really kick ass mood and they are fantastic to have on when I'm writing.

Mr Mister (I'm expecting a slagging over that one) were a group that I used to listen to when I was writing for my screenwriting class in college - with some good results.

Let me tell you, looking at that list there's even very few people that know me that would understand those choices!!

Albums that I love? Interesting.

Deep breath......

in no particular order

Patty Griffin - Impossible Dream
Neko Case - Furnace Room Lullaby
Dido - No Angel
Tom Waits - Mule Variations
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Greatest Hits
Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow
Marit Peters - Dead Reckoning
Morcheeba - Big Calm

Could not get to 10, but this is enough. Okay, bash me all you want. I have a soft spot for folksy mellow singers.

I thought the point of this thread was to name our own favourite bands or albums. Which is what I did. I didn't realise they had to meet with your approval.

And, for someone who started this thread to escape from the nitpickiness and bitchiness of other threads, you sure did come out swinging. Yes, you did mean to be mean.

I saw U2 with my wife in Phoenix during the Elevation tour. It was awesome. A friend of mine found the MP#'s of that very concert online & made me a 2 cd set. That way that memory lives on forever.
