Your actually the first person to respond. It seems out here on the rim that is Chch, there are only a few of us loyal flans.

All the info I have is the Serenity will arrive on Oct. 6; that's according to incinemas.co.nz. Hoyts says November - so who really knows!?

I've got one other bud looking forward to the film. Once we know the official release date, we can plan a get-together.

Kiwi flans exist, we're just scattered over the country and over websites, I think. Also, there are quite a few who aren't net-happy. Shame we didn't organise something earlier - could have rustled a few together and met up somewhere in the middle .

It seems that all the theaters are advertising an 11/10 release. Correct info seems to be a problem between some websites. Oh well, Serenity will be here eventually, so AGAIN, I'm counting the days. I'm sure everyone down here in NZ will love it!

Well, definately count me in, though from what I hear we dont get it til the 11th of Oct or so, which is today, as it turns out. Still, I have a group of FireFly fan friends of ours hoping to go this weekend as well, if anyone else in CHCH wants to tag along, drop me a line here or via email

Yeah, be good to get the all us fans here in Christchurch to go. I called Readings down here and they said 11th November but they then said it could be pushed back again. Oh well.
