I am very excited though! However if you spot a brown haired 21 year old in a Kaylee T-shirt in a corner somewhere crying coz she has no one to talk to, will someone come say hi? Please!

Ramndom note to shop assistants;- you don't have to be going ski-ing to buy a ski jacket. They are very warm and practical for the winter!

Glad to help, I know being a con virgin is nervewracking but don't worry we will all be there for you! I am sure there will be planned meet-ups at different times on the Friday and such a big group as the Randomites is kind of hard to miss!

For my first con I did two things, steward (very boring, never did it again but I met a couple of couple people) and bribes! I took a basket full of chocolate coins (it was a St Patricks party, I went as a leprechaun - ok I wore green) and gave them out to people. It worked a treat, I made a great bunch of friends very quickly. A friend of mine gives out tequila with a water pistol (and sometimes the 'gun-belt'). Then there is Keith (who everybody knows) who carries a bag of very kinky sex-toys and asks people to play with them.

Why not try one of these yourself or come up with something else?

Sorry bout that I did seem to bring some semblance of normality in here for a little while. Perhaps I'll hop on over to the other thread. Maybe not tho.

I have just realised that on the Serenity soundtrack they have spelt Jayne's name wrong. Is that bugging anyone else or am I being an annoying nit picker?

And last but not least I finally got a full time job! Woo hoo. Not the job I want to do forever by any means, but something to be getting on with! Yay!
