My favorites are all of them lol. sry I can't choose one.

Objects in Space. Near perfect with an excellent bad guy. Favourite bit is where Jayne rolls over and uncovers his "wall of guns". You think, "Hooray, Jayne's gonna get the bad guy!", but he's just wrapping the blanket around himself to get comfy - so funny!

That being said, I always introduce new watchers to "Our Mrs Reynolds". They always start out by thinking it's about Mal being nasty to his innocent new wife and getting a few laughs from the situation, and it turns into a whole other type of episode.

Then they usually want to see another so I continue with the Saffron thread and show them "Trash". I think these are more accessible to new watchers than the pilot, which is a bit slow (though still marvellous - don't throw me into the engine intake!)

He left the name, at which the world grew pale.

If I was on an island and could only have one Firefly ep with me, I'd have to choose "Our Mrs. Reynolds". Humor, drama, peril, great acting, tons of quotables... Just my fav ep.

Now if I was forced to dump an ep (maybe throw it out to get a whole new ep, that would be an interesting thread), I'd dump "The Message". Too much repeating the same dialog, so many holes, makes to many crew members look dense beyond their means...

Just like what seems to be an increasing number of people I'm going to have to go with Objects in Space. I am a new fan of the show and bought the DVD after seeing Serentiy (against my better judgement to see the movie first). But after seeing all the episodes (and all of them are great) there is just something about Objects in Space, Early is a great character.

Does that seem right to you?

i'm not sure what i'd say my favorite episode is. i mgiht have to start using that "whatever the last one i watched" thing. that's pretty good.

and as for objects in space, it's definitly up there, Early is definitly my favorite bad-guy.

I would have to say Shindig, because that part where River starts talking to badger with a cockney accent. It was extremely hilarious.It doesnt matter any ways, because I like all the episodes.
