What WAS supposed to have been a September 29th to October 19th run, is now extended to the 26th!
In a suprise move, and after asking a few cinemas, it seems Serenity did so well they want her back for a FOURTH week! I've rarely seen films which ran on cult status alone do better than 4 weeks, even if that, so keep it up Browncoats!
Aussie Browncoats, time to rally for ONE last push.
This week, until Wednesday the 26th, will be our chance to get the Cinemas to hold onto Serenity, to extend the run, or for one Last Hurrah!
~Keep Her Flying!~
Aussie Aussie Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
Fire! Fly! Fire! Fly!
Aussie Aussie Aussie! OI! OI! OI!

Confirmed screenings until the 26th so far:
- Greater Union: www.greaterunion.com.au (It was close, but new times are out!)
- Wallis: www.wallis.com.au (It may be one a day in some cases, but better than none!)
- Hoyts: http://hoyts.ninemsn.com.au (Same case, but even Entertainment Plaza opposite FOX Studios is playing 'til the 26th!)

That's good news indeed.
Serenity is dropping out of theatres quickly here in the U.S. With Doom, North Country & Stay coming out this weekend, it is a safe bet that theatres will bump our BDM to put in some fresh films.

Way to go Australia. I'm going at least one more time in Texas. In the end, I think this movie will have done better than we think. I'm tired of everyone saying that this movie tanked, or was a failure. This is a great movie, with great reviews, and I'd take that any day over a lousy movie with great numbers.
A sw - what??

Serenity...defeated in the US by The Rock running around with a big prop gun versus C.G.I beasties in a Video Game Recreation Spinoff, P.O.Vs and all.
What next, a warped Nintendo cash-in with Bob Hoskins as Super...nevermind. XD
I know it's not all of you. Just the drunk/sleep deprived masses with bad taste. ;) XD
