First, wanna say thanks to Pollaxt (if he/she reads this board) and and a huge thanks to TRS80 for the actual download. I've got it up on Kazaa(lite) now. I will warn whoever tries to download it from me: My ISP gives me a really, really crappy upload speed of 128Kb/sec which if my math works out right would make it a 5-6 hour download minimum. My Kazaa(lite) is DarinPo. If it won't come up by looking for Firefly - 1x13 - Trash then try looking up the Gag Reel and finding my user name and select the option to search for more files from the same user. Now, I'm gonna try and post the sig2dat thing...hopefully it'll work.

Hmm, is this board incapable of taking the sig2dat data and turning into a valid link? I even found a "Sig2Dat for Dummies" type website and it looks like I did everything right. Oh well.

I'm trying it now. It sort of seems to work. What you posted isn't quite right. I took the second part, and prepended "file:" in front, like this:

File:Firefly - 1x13 - Trash.avi
Length:238937111 Bytes,233337KB
UUHash:=nIGc332zZ7VmjfoySxCxdhWRU2c=

You then half to shut down Kazaa and restart, and the download should show up in the traffic window.

The download window says "more sources needed" though, so clearly it can't find you.
Thanks for trying. I'll leave it running, maybe it will figure things out.

What are you trying to do exactly? When you generate a signature. You can click url style, then you copy to clipboard and past that into the message. You can then post the link into internet explorer. HOWEVER, you still need sig2dat to decode it.

It seems like you've generated the signature okay. I don't know enough about how Kazaa works to figure out why it won't pick up the file.

Thanks for tryin' to help me AnnD. I think my problem was that I didn't restart Kazaa after I did it. But I kinda can't now cause I've already got people downloading it from me. At least it's getting out there one way or another. Thanks again!

About 5 minutes ago I had 92% of "Trash" downloaded before someone restarted our internet connection and it was all lost. Just had to share my pain with all of you.
