New Firefly/Serenity Yahoo RPG group

I've just joined a new Yahoo rp group set after the events in Serenity. The address is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/alliances_broken/

The group's game (once it gets started) will deviate from the movie in that Sheperd and Wash will have survived to be in this game. The characters left open to be filled are:

Zoe Warren
Hoban "Wash" Washburn
Jayne Cobb
Shepherd Book
The Operative

What about "New" characters?

I'd love to get involved in the game, but I can't play Mal. The only person who should be playing Mal is Nathan Fillion... woah... wait... guys... i just had a brilliant idea...

To hell with a TV Series. To Hell with a Sequel. What we do is we set up an open chatroom, get the original cast to play thier characters and Joss to ST, and we all just sit around and watch. GENIUS!!! I'll get on the phone and see about getting that going.

In the meantime though, yeah, what about new characters in this Yahoo game? I'd love to play a passenger or a contact or something.
