I guess it is close enough for a short countdown......three more days till my 30th birthday........(sigh)

Thanks...not sure if it's going to be happy or not. I gotta work.

Plus there is the whole stigma of it being a "milestone" b-day. So far the only celebrations type thing planned is by my lab co-worker. She's bringing in pizza. I'll probibly make my own cake and bring it in for the others I work with to partake of.

I guess what I am not looking foreward to the most is the unsolicited offers for spankings from those who I wouldn't want touching me with a ten foot pole. We gots a few creepy ones here.....

I worked like my last three birthdays, so I know how it is.

Then again, I volunteered. Don't much care for the pageantry and fuss, to be honest. But I miss most holidays, being out on the road, including the one truly important one... the Fourth of July.

Gonna miss it again this year, too. The only time of year you can blast a scrap car into the air and not have the neighbors calling the cops. Sigh.

As for the milestone, look at it this way- you're not even halfway there yet. Got a good long life ahead of ya, right?
