Ha! I didn't know it was English either! (I figured out the "fruity oaty bar" part only after reading on one of the boards (and then, it fit nicely into my memory of the song, but the rest was still a mystery)

btw, to the person who asked about the soundtrack, the jingle is not on there.

and on the OB, someone posted a pic of the fruity oaty bar t-shirt, maybe if you find one, you will lift the burden of the [*tune being stuck in your head* (there's a word for that, not "earbug" but something similar I think)] from your brain.

I'm hoping this is the ad. That'd be handy for scrubbing the tune out of your head, maybe?

The only part of the song I remember is the line "meddle with your mind" while Rivers face is on screen. I remember the animation of the ad, just not the song.

Has anyone else noticed the brief appearance of the Operative in the flash of images when River is triggered by "the [Oaty Bar/i]"?

Should I quote a really bad song and try to get that stuck in your head instead of Fruity/Oaty? Gilligan's Island? The Night Chicago Died? Bad,Bad, Leroy Brown? A little Abba maybe? Mandy? What's your pleasure in pixelated karaoke?

For some reason, the Fruity Oaty Bar jingle reminds me of one that was on TV when I was a kid:
