I wanted to see Serenity tonight but it just never worked out, but while I was at the mall i bought two tickets to the 7 o'clock showing anyway=)

Also i am in my hometown for the weekend so i hadnt been to this theater before for "Serenity" and when i went to by my ticket there was "SERENITY the future is worth fighting for" across the door in window paint lol. and posters everywhere, and a contest to win serenity stuff. So apparently we have a theater manager on our team which means that theater will keep serenity as long as possible=)

And my old college roommate went and saw it today for me and said "I was pleasently surprised, it was really good!" and she said that Rivers fight scenes were some of the only fight scenes she has ever enjoyed in a movie.

So yey!

Yay indeed ^_^ I'm a new convert myself, having only seen Firefly for the first time a week ago, but I've lost track of how many of my friends I've shown it to, who've been both pleasantly surprised by it and shocked that it was cancelled!

As for the film fight scenes, I have to say that the graceful "balletic" style did hold the attention far more than usual smash and bash fight scenes, although it makes it a little harder to believe that a little girl can hit so hard while appearing so weightless and floaty

Ooh, a Browncoat theatre manager....infiltration and subversion from within!! Excellent news!

I went to see Serenity again, and THEN snuck into Wallace and Gromit!

I plan to see the Fog this week sometime, and I will be buying a Serenity ticket for that too...

I like the way you think Spike&Jezebel I just don't have the stamina to watch 2 films each time!! Oh my feeble feebleness....*watches firefly dvds again to strengthen square-eye tolerance*

I could do it. It's not like the ticket taker right next to the auditorium or anything. It be easy during the week cause not everyone goes to the movies during the week.

yessirree indeed I have... several times. Lots of movies to see- but Serenity gets all my cash!
:-)

Like you all I want this movie to make a decent ripple/wave. I tell all my mates to go see it and then I sometimes buy an extra ticket whether I am going or not.

Call it a minor investment in what I hope will be a shiny future.

Cheers!

Looking at your quote, I'm wondering if it's not from Angel? I thought I knew most Firefly dialog by heart and while this is familar I can't quite place it. Maybe I'm just adrift in Whedonverse this morning. Thanks in advance for any help.
