Who else thinks Serenity is a pretty ship?

I didn't, but that's nice. A lot of things in Galactica were like Firefly and it’s nice that they gave it a nod.

I personally think Serenity is not only a beautiful ship, but functional looking and aerodynamic as well. I've been told she's ugly by others, but I don't see that at all. There's SOMETHING about the look of that ship that looks sleek, hopeful, and comforting all at the same time.

I would love to also see a model of the ship as well.

I think it's beautiful inside and out. It has so much more character than Enterprise, Galactica or even Moya.

If a model kit of Serenity comes out, I'll buy one to assemble, one to keep unassembled on the shelf in case the first one falls apart, and another to keep in the attic just to know it's there.

Very similar to the designs used on cargo narrow boats (where the toilet and sink fold/pull out)and romany horsedrawn caravans where space is vital.

To me Serenity has her own personality. She's not like so many ships in sci-fi that are blank and at best could be described as functional.

Someone else mentioned that she has a bird like shape to her and I totally agree, that's the first thing I thought when I saw the pilot episode.

I think she's one of the Whedonverse's greatest characters. Anyone else cringe when she gets all bashed up?

I didn't need Zoe to say it to feel heart broken that Mal would do that to Serenity...
but that is part of the whole point,
Serenity IS a main character:
she keeps the safe, and keeps them together

I love seeing her under repairs, getting healed as the crew heals.

Although I am also a Star Trek Fan... Serenity is by far the prettiest craft.
