Ahh, Baldrick would be proud

Couple of friends wanted to go see Wallace & Gromit - Curse of the Wererabbit, (they'd already seen Serenity, don't glare at me! ) and invited me along, but when i went to the box office, i ordered a ticket for "Serenity" to get past the tickets gates, and then snuck into W&G - CotWR along with my other friends who'd bought correct tickets They think I'm crazy, but at least it's OUR kind of crazy! *browncoat salute*

Anyone else done this?

I thought about doing it tonight but instead I just went to see Serenity again! There's plenty of time to watch Wallace and Gromit on DVD!!

I saw Wallace in Gromit tonight but didn't pull your trick. It has lots of funny moments, but I think I would have enjoyed the evening more seeing Serenity for a 4th time!

Now that's a cunning plan!

I actually went with a friend to see Wallace and Gromit and Serenity back to back... though considering how packed the former was, buying the wrong ticket would get you kicked out, there wasnt a seat spare... Serenity on the other hand - smallish screen, half of the seats were taken at best.
Though it was the 9:45pm showing, so maybe its not a good time

I think seeing both films actually didn't do my friend that much good. He didnt particularly want to see Serenity but was willing to give it a chance, but after W&G (which he absolutely loved) Serenity was a bit of a disappointment in comparison (totally different movies but it wasn't exactly his thing anyway)

I did enjoy both, but given the choice, I'd choose Serenity anyday (of course)

GameStalker: Watch closely, and you will learn, Grasshopper

NikNak: I liked W&G too, really silly and sweet and funny, but still not in the same league as Serenity! I would have enjoyed W&G the same on dvd I imagine. It didn't really require the big screen experience of special and sound effects like Serenity does, although I'm absolutely shattered after I watch Serenity in the theatre, such a rollercoaster ride!

Needy: Why thank you :D True, I did go in the early afternoon, and W&G was surprisingly empty for a Saturday, so no problems. Well you got someone to see it, who wouldn't normally see it, so i consider that a great success! Maybe you can sneak a few firefly episodes into his brain too, when he isn't looking
