Back at the Shuttle Grant, Safe and Jack have replaced their flak jackets with a light body armor and helmets.
Safe twists from side to side, clearly a little uncomfortable in the armor. Body armor has come a long way, and is nowhere near as heavy as the older versions, but that still didn't make it any more comfortable to wear. Plus it didn't help that the guy Safe "acquired" his armor from had smaller shoulders.
Jack: "C'mon, let's get this show on the road! Times a wastin'. Where is the butterfly girl anyway?"
Safe: "She said she'd be right back, Jack. Keep yer pants on."

Okay, so far it seems that the teams are:
TheRealMe, Rat, Jake7, and Nugget. We'll take Rat's beloved General Lee, leaving the Napoleon for someone else.
Serenity, Safe, Jack, Ath and... PsychicRiver? in the General Grant.
Soul, Jazaf, and (temporarily) Static in the Destiny's Shadow or its shuttles.
Wow. If we trade Nugget for Needleseye, I'm with the same team that set out after the escaped FemaleReaver back on Black Diamond.
And I wonder if Jazaf is going to actually get some action in without his student.
