I really hope that don't that Lord of the Rings crap.....release the DVD and then a month or two later release a special one......... I hope I hope I hope they don't

I just wanted to say that that's not very fair to Peter Jackson and New Line. They did more than enough to inform the consumer; anyone who paid attention knew months before the theatrical cut of The Fellowship of the Ring came out on DVD that there were going to be extended editions.

The companies you should take umbrage with are the ones who don't bother to tell you until well after the fact.

But if it is a gift from an uneducated friend (like mine was) then what...... it was tricky and everyone knows that, even with the info we all know how marketing works
