Just got this from www.boxofficemojo.com

Quote:

-------------------------
BOX OFFICE MOJO
THEATER COUNTS REPORT
PREPARED FOR: xxxxx
-------------------------

OCTOBER 14

Title (Distributor) / Theater Count (Change) / Week #

DECLINING

Flightplan (Buena Vista) / 3,111 (-212) / 4

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride (Warner Bros.) / 2,525 (-479) / 5

Into the Blue (Sony) / 1,903 (-886) / 3

The Greatest Game Ever Played (Buena Vista) / 1,725 (-85) / 3

Serenity (Universal) / 1,700 (-489) / 3

A 22% reduction in US theatre numbers can't be good news for progress towards $80M

I slightly surprised as the DBM is beginning to show signs of holding in US BO. Hopefully Worldwide BO will make up the difference. See my analysis at:

Well it's starting to be taken out of theaters, right? Could it be because of it? And how can Flightplan get a better grossed film? *gags*
