Hopefully someone at some studio (Fox/Universal, etc) will read all these thousands and thousands of threads of "I want another season of the TV series more than anything else" and perhaps figure out they can make money by making more Firefly. (even if it is crippled and damaged due to the movie)

And welcome to the new Browncoats... there can never be too many.

thanks and I will take it on myself to email everybody I can think of who could bring it back. It's just that I want more,,the shows bring a peace to my life that is hard to find.

And since I'm not an English major and my english is not correct enough for some members on this site, I will take my leave for awhile ( probably months ). I can't believe that just by asking a question I get insulted and degraded. Well you wonderful people can keep your site and I will never post on this site again. Thanks for making my day.

Well congratulations, Aikenite98! You have succeeded in killing a potentially valuable member of the Browncoat community. Three cheers for trolls! May you live eternally in your personal hell!

That being said, I hope you change your mind, Francis.

Though I was a huge fan of the show (all four episodes I saw on T.V., thanks to Fox's wonderful job of both not advertising and continually switching Firefly's showtime) it faded from my mind. However, upon learning that Serenity was reviving that show that I had such fond memories of I was hooked again. I purchased the DVD box set about a month ago, and I've worn them out. I've lent them to friends and to family. I've seen the film three times with different groups of people.

I'm very happy to have found this site, and though I am new to it, I am a veteran of many online forums. I can tell you then, from experience, that people like Aik are a rarity and they are treated as the true idiots. Don't let him discourage you.

I'm a proud Browncoat and have been since I was 14 years old watching the best television show I have ever seen.

After all, in order to convince anyone that the show is popular, membership must be booming.

Y'know, I may be labelled a jerk for saying this, but I think it's Francis here who is out of line. Yes, some jerk trash talked him (and to Aikenite98, what the hell is your problem?) but c'mon, seriously...everyone else here went out of their way to apologize for the troll, and assure Francis that he's welcome here, and most browncoats are not like Aikenite98, so what did he do? Get all indignant, essentially turn up his nose, say "humphf" and leave. I am sorry, and I am all for new fans, and I'm glad that Francis liked the movie, but if he wants to leave, I'm not gonna feel sorry for him or get mad at Aikenite 98 for that. Seems that Francis is good at being fixated on the one negative in a sky of positives, so what can you do? It's sad, really...

Me thinks that your reaction to a single reply is a tad overboard. To be honest, reread your first post. If English isn't your native tongue, that's o.k. If it is, then you can take such criticism , even if overly harsh, and turn it around for your benefit. When life gives you lemons....
