Well, being alone in the poool isn't much fun.
*Ath gets out of the pool and heads toward the common room, looking for something to do. As he gets close, he hears that wonderful song:

Smiling, he joins Jake7 on the couch.*
"Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants. The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!"

Kicked out of engineering by Jet, Needle takes a wander about the Tree. A single cream and pink rose tucked in her hair, boots squeaking on the floor. Hums to herself and another rose sprouts from her palm. Pretty rose petals scatter behind her skirt with each step. She hears a tune as she passes the common room...

...she hums in unison and decides to linger a bit. The common room soon smells faintly of roses mixed with the light metallic grimeyness that is the Tree.

Enjoys the song, inhales the lovely frangrance of the newly sprouted rose... and beneath her calm exterior, readies for that unknown something that is making her skin all prickley.

Static guides his beloved ship smoothly towards Grey's mecha. In a seamless ballet of fluid motion, the TREE spins in space, setting itself at the same axis as the giant battle robot. The hangar doors open silently and the TREE passes over the Mecha like a bat, swallowing a mosquito in midair.
From within his cockpit, Static eyes the controls. Once he is confident that his friend has been retrieved without incident, he sets the autopilot and unfolds himself from his seat. He climbs from the cockpit and walks slowly (is he limping? Looks like he is...a bit)towards his bunk.
Static's bunk is spartan. A bed, a desk and a chair, the sink and toilet. There are no pictures upon the walls. As he enters, he unstraps his gunbelts and hangs them on a hook, removing the pistols from the holsters. He crosses to the desk and spies the note upon the bed.
All hail Dischordia!
All hail the Crimson King!
Static reads the note, his face failing to betray any emotion. He crumples the note with one hand and tosses it in the wastebin.
"I will not renounce the Tower. It's all I have anymore." he whispers to himself, "And you will not stop me."

*Katanas retrieved, Serenity heads back to the common room just in time to see a funny looking spaceship fly over a herd of horses on the big plasma tv screen*

*She plops down on the couch with the rest. Dale the ferret is still burrowed in her hair, eating bits of carrot she feeds him from her pocket.*
Might as well have some fun until the next big crisis.

In his room, Jazaf projected himself into his Imaginary Stone garden. He went to this paradise quite often and was enjoying the serenity of the place. Without warning a malevolent presence washed over him and his calm little garden suddenly became a jagged wasteland. It flashed back to the serene garden just as suddenly.
Jazaf slowly opened his eyes, put his chin onto his hands and said.'Now what in the nine spheres of hell....?'
