Hey
I was having a debate the other day with a few friends about where the series was actually shot. Some thought Vancouver, BC and some thought California anyone able to settle this arguement?

100% was California

It's the first show since Power Rangers (and boy is it better than that strange show... how is it PR is still around?) to so clearly show that it was shot in Southern CA. I find this fun, since I live there. Good example: in Trash, the desert Mal is naked in is the Mojave. There's SoCal terrain all over.
Vancouver is much, *much* greener. As a point of interest, the more modern PR is now shot either in Vancouver or Seattle (not sure which), but if you check the terrain, it's green. SoCal is brown. Exactly like it's shown in the series.

I just wanted to chime in and say that, even as a "yute," I knew without a doubt that Power Rangers was absolutely godawful.
I'm very proud of my younger self for avoiding that particular fad.

Power Rangers wouldn't have been so bad if they had just done a proper dubbing of the original japanese series... and not waste all that film on the american cast.
