Having some success telling non-Firefly folks the following about Serenity: ~It's Han Solo piloting the Millenium Falcon again, but better!~
Honest to Gorram, they smile, nod and they GO BUY A TICKET! Also, I dragged my husband (formerly a nay-sayer) to see Serenity. Afterwards he loaned my DVD Firefly to his co-worker whose entire family of 5 watched the whole season in three nights and are going to the movie this weekend. This stuff sells itself! Long live the Joss's 'Verse, says I.

I saw it @ midnight on the 30th then later that day @ 9:45pm the 7:00 show was sold out. I had to work sat and sun but i saw it agin monday. and i've been working ever since. did I mention that the 7:00 show on fri was sold out.

We have to have a sequel!

Went to the London Premiere, went back to my home town, saw it again at a prieview! Am going again tonight, and again tommorow. Support the Joss and see the movie at least 10 times!

saw it opening night, opening day, sunday, and friday. hopfully again toady and tomarrow.
turns out, signs work pretty good. the 5 days up to release, me & my minions all wore signs that said "X days 'til serenity" to school, and im thinking we prolly got a good 10-15 people.... ok, so not GREAT, but if EVERYone did it... :look
and we do TO need a sequel

I'll be seeing it again tonight --3rd viewing and most certainly not my last!! Not sure if my friend is coming with (she saw it with me for my second time last week. Depends on how her moving goes today (I would have been helping, but schedules didn't mesh today)

I did sent an email to a buddy and one other guy at work yesterday with the 9 minutes link.

I know my buddy and his girlfriend are supposed to see the movie tomorrow. Two-three others at work are planning to see it. I just wish they'd get off their duffs and see it NOW!!

I've seen Serenity 6 times.....and everytime I've taken new people....they've all loved it. Some have even gone out and bought the Firefly box set so that they can see how all the characters connect and then they want to watch Serenity again. All we can do is keep taking people to see this movie so we can have our gorram sequels. God's knows we all need more.

I've seen the BDM 5 times now...
and yesterday I bought an extra ticket,
just cause I knew I couldn't go today.

I'll be going again NEXT weekend, and hopefully for many weekends after that!

Today will be my third time seeing it. Saw an advanced screening, saw it opening night, and today at 1:30. My Mom loves it to, so it wasn't hard to convince her to go again today....

"Oh, come on Mom, Joss and them NEED us this weekend."
"Oh, well...okay!"
