I think Serenity's profit line isn't the only factor for a sequel

If I remember correctly, Joss has two movies (Wonder Women & another that escapes right now) that are in the works. By the time those two movies are in the can, every opinion will have changed many times over. Between the series dvd sells and the movie dvd, there will have to be a much larger anticipated fan base.

A lot of money went into Serenity (I really like the upgraded look of the fed troops), but we're not talking about making a return on a 100 million here.

I think the biggest hurdle to making another Serenity movie is time. I don't want to wait until 2008 for the next BDM.
