I said the same thing when the show ended. I lokked at my wife and said, "so we're no further along than last week".

Also, did anyone notice that Micheals ex wife also played a character in the BDM?

Yeah, BarnStormer, that's what I heard too. At the beginning of the season, TPTB said that they would explain the hatch in the first three episodes. So if they still haven't explained anything by the end of this upcoming ep, we can start getting seriously pissed.

Anybody else find it to be very stupid that this hatch had a nice old front door that you can just walk in and out of apparently? How come nobody found that before?

I totally agree. Anyone else feel like they're writing this by the seat of their pants, just making it up as they go along, with no pre-defined 'answer' that ties everything together nicely and consistently?

Zeek, good point, though I'd assume it would have to be pretty well hidden (since they didn't actually show the door). Also, it's not like the Lostaways have done that much exploring.
You have to admit that they've provided a lot more information in this past episode, and some answers. Not definitive ones by any means, but answers nonetheless.

according to David Fury, who was working on the show for a while,
the creators don't have a payoff in mind...
they don't KNOW where they're headed,
so your 'B' scenerio is probably correct...
they probably will decide that any ending will be lame
MY problem is that the journey has gotten lame.
Seems to me that the backstories have gotten redundant already,
and I'm just having trouble caring....
I don't like the 'stars' of the show,
I'm really liking some of the supporting cast but I don't get to see enough of them...
so pretty much I'm watching Veronica Mars this year!
