After having seen the May prescreening I began work on a project that I just needed to do.
Select to view spoiler:
This isn't a vid that is just for the movie, or for Zoe or the crew, or even for Wash, but I intended it to be for us. Not just to grieve for a beloved character, but to remember how he lived, and his impact on the crew, and, of course, his impact on us the fans.
Be warned, the vid's title is mildly ironic.

Tzegha, sweetie, it's seven in the morning and I so want to see this video you've made....but I'm getting that stupid "Exceeding Bandwidth" error.
Any hopes for a mirror site?
Or some other way I can see the vid?

finally, Haken's site is accessible again!
yes, my bandwidth is overloaded and I'm trying to get it bumped back up, but I haven't gotten word from RayHill in order to do so.
So for the interim, there is this link provided by the lovely Roscoe:
http://home.comcast.net/~rasincero/fanvid.asx
It's a playlist of five fanvids, three of which are Firefly fanvids that he found (which turned out to be mine) and 2 BSG fan videos.
Vid playlist is in this order:
(1) firefly: "Reavers" by Tzegha
(2) firefly: "The Very Act of Being" by Tzegha
(3) firefly: "a tiny grief song" by Tzegha (spoiler)
(4) bsg: "so cold" by breaking red
(5) bsg: "fine again" by breaking red
Hopefully I'll get my own site back on it's feet soon.

this site makes me hyperventilate! Slow page-loading, doesn't like my html tags, edit function sends me to a cannot-find-page, site logs me out, start over...
*big deep breath*

Those are really nice...
and I think you should put 'A Tiny Song of Grief' onto a CD for Alan Tudyk, because I think he would love to see it.
You know you could send it to him c/o Universal Pictures
or c/o the theater where 'Spamalot' is playing in NYC
(I think he is in that until Dec 1st)
thanks for sharing!

heh, I live an hour from NYC, I could stand outside the stage door every night until I see him, how wierd would that be?
:P
I already gave Wash a 'get well' card c/o Alan, I'm not sure about handing him a cd. What if he's a luddite? What if the cd doesn't play in his computer? What if he doesn't have a computer?
*works self into panic*
;)

#1 I understood that AT comes out the stage door after EVERY show to sign autographs and even take pictures (I have friends who have seen the show and stayed afterwards to meet him)
#2 He may be a Luddite, but he is an actor and knows how to (I'm sure) borrow stuff from his friends...
I'm sure that if you burn it on a standard MP3 that he'll find someone who can play it for him on THEIR computer...
probably his agent
or someone at the office in this theater
(I worked at a theater as a bookkeeper once and I had up to date computer equipment when I was there)
I'd go for it my own self!
PS I understand that they give out 'standing room only tickets' if you go and stand in line early in the morning.... I didn't manage it when I was in NYC but I heard it was mostly a matter of getting in line a 6 am....

just a little note that this and all my other vids can now be found at http://www.dreamsofthespider.com
I never did get around to getting back into the city with a copy of this vid. Completely left my head, I was so busy after the last time I was in the city and gave Alan Wash's "get well" card :P
