I just got an email from Fox Music they rereleased the Firefly soundtrack in MP3 format and also offer an redo for people who already paid for the WMA version to get the MP3 version at no extra charge.

Fox did e-mail me too informing me of the switch to MP3 format.
I detest their website and had a LOT of trouble with it but I was able to finally download the music.
I'd also like to thank Fox for the fast response to the problems and for individually e-mailing us.

Ugh, I really won't work at all - but I'm in Belgium so that could have something to do with it.
Could anyone please do me a huge favour as well and send me the files through hotmail or msn messenger [tanyamoons@hotmail.com]? I wouldn't mind paying or sending stuff back, I just REALLY want these files.
I can't believe they're being such a pain - have they seen how many peple actually WANT to pay for this but can't? I wish Greg Edmondson would just release his own version of this over here

You've tried entering 'United States' as your country, I presume? Then put NY, NY and NY12345 in as your city, state and zip code respectively. That seems to work, did for me. And I'm from the UK!
It didn't like my Visa card, either. I had to use my never-use-it Mastercard card instead.
Alternatively, you can get it from someone else and lessen the chances of getting the soundtrack on CD later.

Doesn't work :(. I tried the zip code thingy and that worked but for some reason it won't accepy my Visa or Mastercard. *grumble*

Hey uhh this may have already come up but: Can we download the music off itunes or msn music at all cuz i only have accounts there.....
I mean if not id totally be willing to open another account w/ FOx music but this idea worries me slightly due to FOX's apparent inability to do anything right.....

Meanwhile, I'm just rounding out the weekend with a little praise for my dear peeps. Considering everything we've had to overcome, this is an extraordinary achievment. And you guys have been in the front lines. I lurk, I know all. So thanks. Some of you might know that this flick means more than a little to me.
Yes, the second weekend will tell all, as we've always known. I'm not here to push you guys -- you push yourselves way harder than I could anyway. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the message out to the guys that aren't you, that don't know any of you, and that don't run into someone who saw the film. I'll be hounding the extremely patient Uni execs on that very subject. Like the lady said, "People have to know".
It's not that there HAS to be a sequel. It's just that I've got so many IDEAS...
