New guy here. How long is before Bones gets the ax? That is why I am very hesitant to watch anything Fox puts out because just when I get into its gone. You know they have been trying to kill Arrested Development since day one. Not a fan of the show but I hope it does well just to spite Fox. I loved Firefly cancelled, loved Keane Eddie, cancelled. Those poor guys from Head Cases didn't deserve that.

Um, it's more the other way around. Arrested Development has never gotten great ratings but Fox has kept it on the air despite that. Not that I'm a fan of Fox but they have given Arrested Development a decent chance.

Yeah I guess youre right. I have calmed down from my tantrum towards Fox. It just seems like anything that is not a reality show or American Idol it gets cancelled. I understand they are in the busines of making money. When we look back on this era of t.v. what will we be left with. It is a good thing Lost is on ABC I love that show.

I actually watched both eps, and I didn't think it was all that bad. It needed some polish, maybe some time to hit its stride, but it could have gotten there.
Fox's problem is that unless a show comes out with massive numbers instantly, it dies. And what do you expect given what it was up against? A hit UPN show, Martha's new show, and Lost. Why even air it? Jesus, against that you might as well run those colored bars that say a staion is off the air, because you aren't going to have any viewers anyway.
NBC is flagging on Thursdays now. Why not try it then? Or Mondays even, when there also isn't much on. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how the matchup of ANYNEWSHOW vs. LOST is going to turn out.
Which is how we know geniuses don't work for Fox.

I thought head cases seemed to lack in plot when i saw the ads for it... never did watch it... and now... TWO eps!? Wondefalls only got four, so I suppose two is the next step....
But OMG, I didnt realize how much I liked BONES until you made this post, and I thought NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not again! those 
canceled bones!? Well, thats too bad for headcases, frankly it's a tragedy because it is the end of a scripted show, if nothing else. THen again, at least it lost to 'Lost', a different scripted show.
(never really got into lost.... watched the first few eps of the first seaon, but nothing clicked: Lord of the Flies meets Jurassic Park just didnt thrill me at the time)
Anyhoo.... I like Bones. :) (boney spoilers)

The second ep was really good i thought... the last scene where boreanaz has to go back to his sniper days, and he hesitates because he needs a face, he is insecure like that. good stuff.
