I did not watch this show, but geez. Talk about not being given a chance. And we thought Firefly got it bad. So, you put a show up against the season premiere one of the highest rated shows on TV and expect it to do well? Outrageous.

I didn't even know that show had STARTED. I really wanted to watch you. That guy from The Hebrew Hammer is a riot. Damn you, Fox.

And--

Head Cases (the cancelled show) had Chris O'Donnell, who is a much bigger star than any of our BDHs, much as we love them.

I figure the next stage of development will be to cancel shows without airing ANY episodes, which will save all that filming expense, etc. . . .

How did the fox exec's brains learn human speech?

When the stars shine bright through the engine's trail and the dust of another world drops behind; When my ship is free of the open sky, its a damn good day to my way of mind; Theres a barren planet you never can leave, theres a rocky valley where we lost a war; Theres a cross worn 'round a soldier's neck, theres a man's faith died on Serenity's floor, but i stood my ground and ill fight once more; Its the last oath that i ever swore

Wow. That was fast. Yeah, no kidding, FF had it easy compared to that. I watched part of the first episode... I"d rate it so-so, but it was the pilot. Not many shows are stellar by pilot alone.

Fox is making quite a reputation for itself, isn't it? Hopefully actors who get their series picked up by Fox now and in the future will be smart enough to hold off buying their Malibu [dream] house.

I was JUST listening to Mal's Song on my way home.

I don't know what your problem is, but I bet it's hard to pronounce.

So one day a fox exec was sitting at his desk watching BONES. Nonchantaly his hand moved toward the big black cancel button on his desk when suddenly out of nowhere

It's all part of Fox's new plan to find the next "hit" show. See, they've tried the "spring" premieres. They've tried "summer" premieres. They've tried "early fall" [i.e., August] premieres.

Now they are going for the year-round premieres. Their development team will not stop, they'll develop new shows 365 days a year, then after they have a pilot will move on to the next show. This way they will always have shows to replace olds ones that weren't an instant hit.

patent pending.

LOL!

Yep, a new personal best for Fox! With luck and training, next year they'll be able to cancel after just one episode, and then the holy grail of Fox programming: cancelling midway through a show...
