Rocket Launch and "Serenity" Premiere Coincide!

On the same evening that "Serenity" held its red carpet premiere at Universal Studios CityWalk in Burbank, California, a rocket was launched at Vandenberg Air Force Base and created a beautiful, colorful vapor trail across the sky.

Ironically, the rocket's launch occured at 7:24 p.m. and the film began at 7:30 p.m.

Oh my god, I saw that rocket. It was during Marching Band practice and we all watched it lift into orbit. Awsome.

Ah, so that's what it was. I thought it was some sort of UFO or something. LOL
