Hi all,
At some point during the North Carolina BDMPP weekend I was thinking about holding an "Easter Egg Hunt". This would involve compliling a list of "easter eggs" and other such things in each episode, and either using screen captures, capturing snippits of video, or just skipping through each episode to show everyone each of these "easter eggs". A few examples that pop into mind are the Han Solo toy in the engine room, Jubal Early's ship flying by in "Trash", and similar neat things that one might not necessarily catch while viewing the episodes.
I've got a short but growing list of my own, and would like for everyone that might know of any of these "easter eggs" to submit them to me either in this thread or via e-mail (wwross9 {at} hotmail {dot} com) so that I can add them to my list. This includes folks coming to the NCBDMPP and others willing to share, and of course if anyone else out there is hosting their own premiere party, feel free to use this idea and the "eggs" listed herein if you wish.
I'm planning on the event taking maybe an hour or so, and being fairly informal. I'm also thinking of making copies of my list for folks to take with them if they want to view them on their own later.
Any feedback/comments welcome, and again, if you know of any secret "easter eggs" or other neat stuff in any of the episodes, send 'em in so I can add them to my list! Thanks!

What might be fun is to have people form teams, and make it more of a "hunt." Play a clip from an episode, and each team has to write down the Easter Egg(s) they find. Whoever has the most at the end of the night wins...
There's the reference in Shindig to "Captain Tightpants" which goes back to Nathan ripping his pants in Serenity Part 1, Mal telling Wash in the Out of gas flashback to "just play with the switches" a reference to Alan flipping the same three switches to do anything, and Kaylee's constant reminders how they need a new compression coil (docks on Persphone in Serenity come to mind) might count as well.
