I hate to be the pessimist, but I remember a scene in the gag reel where Kaylee was pissed and cussing at Simon. Maybe the Kaylee Simoness is more like the fact that they aren’t ever getting together. (More for me!) And in Dead or alive..

Simon and Inara share a look. Ohhh. But, as I think and write, I bet Kaylee over reacts about something with Simon and Inara, and Simon has to talk to her and tell her he isn‘t interested in Inara but really likes Kaylee. Aww.
