Serenity fan fest at Uni theme park 9/24/05

Something of a dilemma I have here. I'm going to be at UCLA Band Camp that week, and Saturday practice ends at 1.
I don't know the public transportation system in LA, and I doubt any Browncoat is going to want to pick me up at UCLA a mere hour before the event starts.
If anyone has any advice, it would be much appriciated!

Well Browncoats, I have a little more info from a nice lady at Universal. You buy a ticket to the park (don't forget the $15 off coupon) and the Fan Fest thing is "free" but I guess there is limited seating or whatever because it's first come first serve. You can all start lining up behind my friend and I, 
we're flying from Florida for this so we will make it in. Small hitch, the behind the scenes thing is an hour and the autograph thing is only an hour. I have a feeling the two events are in different places (this is just a feeling) so if you are in the behind the scenes thing, people will already be lining up for the autographs, so it may be one or the other but not both. I hope I'm wrong.
