Whichwhich? Moi? I had an apartment here in NY, she had hers there in Mass. At some point in the relationship we decided it was going to be a long-term thing; then she quit her job and moved to NY. I'd have loved to be the one quitting/moving, but I was military at the time so that wasn't an option.

And now 'tis time for me to part ways with my beloved (cough, cough!) office, pick up some ears of corn, and wend my way homeward. Good news is these days that's just a five minute commute, post corn. Beats five hours by, oh, about four hours and 55 minutes.

The two-man IT company I am an employee of rents a flat in the area. My 'cell' consists of only a bed, a chair and a computer workstation for my laptop. But we have networked broadband, so it's not as bad as it could be.
