I know there are lots of these threads but the closest group I've seen is D/FW and that's too gorram far, cause there's a cool theater 10 minutes from my house gonna show the BDM (they put up posters anyway... they better!) Anyway there's me and a gang of about 6 friends that all really like FF, some of us are Joss fans in general, and I'd like to know who else is out there.

Not from San Antonio, but just south of you in Corpus Christi...I don't think there are too many firefly/serenity fans in south texas.

That's kinda weird when you think about it with all the western overtones, but seems to be true.

I live in San Antonio normally, but currently I'm stuck in college off in Seattle.

It did seem odd I never saw anything on the crews for the official site or anything...

::sigh:: So very sad, we only have 2 theatres here in Corpus and one of them is kind of scary. I don't think there is going to be a big turnout on opening day down here. Our Barnes and Noble and Waldenbooks has not even received the Serenity Visual Companion yet and barely put out the novelization.

That's where we intend to go. It's going to be a bunch of us too. See ya there.
