Does anyone else wish they had stuck with the teaser poster's design?
It's more relevant and beautiful than those other two, in my opinion.

Early: Where'd she go?
Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's NOT incorporeally possessing a spaceship, don't look at me --

Actually, many concerns about the poster do relate to the movie. Who and what are not pictured, Inara with a weapon, River with an ax, and the symbollism
of the distance between the characters, all of these are mentioned above as bothering people and all are related to the film.

Okay...River does not look like River, and where in this poster are we getting the sense that this flick is set in space, not the outback? And, most importantly, where's Serenity? Is that not the name of the ship? The ship that is infact as good as a main character? Grumble grumble. Enough. I love the poster for the mere fact that it's advertising the honourable Mr. Whedon's work to the un-enlightened, that's gotta be worth something. And hey, this may be the "Aussie" poster, but the one I see everywhere is a simple green-on-black close up of River and Mal, I actually didn't click that it was Serenity til I took a closer look. And yes, I do live in Australia, so that does mean we have more than one poster on offer. Shiny.
Jimmy Bond: You can't shoot me! I have a very low threshold of death. My doctor says I can't have bullets enter my body at any time.
