I'm currently realising unless I get a job when I get back down to uni I'll be living on £50 a week - which aint good/possible in London - including the bills I've got to pay... so a bit anxious really!

Oh yeah, that and my Mum and Dad are back from their holidays and are nagging about doing things that I could put off from days on end before now... except clean the cat tray out for obvious reasons.

And I'm 20 soon! Argh! Suddenly feel old! (Although I'm sure some of the other posters in this thread will soon be quick to remind me that I'm anything but!)

What are you up to on this not so fine evening?

Ahh, you have a groggy head!

I hope you do find a job, come to Matalan, I'll get you a job. It's kinda fun and we have nice people.

Dad keeps moaning at me...about studying for my theory driving test.

I'm doing absoulutely nothing. There's a party tonight...but I'm not going.

I'd just sit there and be miserable, thats the bleak frame of mind I'm in tonight.

And I might be drinking. And Emma once said that drinking when you're miserable leads to AA. And I have work tomo at 10, which I have to cycle too.

You up to anything?

Nope. Just messing around with a script idea for something I've had in my head for too long now and needs to be taken out and put on paper.

Matalan's the type of thing I'm after, nice easy work. Unfortunately I haven't seen any in London. I live near an Asda though so I expect to be working on a fish counter in the not too distant future. Sigh.

Not much point in going out if you feel miserable... well, sometimes there is. I find that if you think a night's going to be crap it's usually a lot better than you expect. But if you feel tired there's not much point in going. Or if you've had garlic bread. That never goes down well. Heheh.

At least you've got us browncoats to cheer you up!

(Does the dance of joy)

Btw, I just sent you a PM.

Rob

Thanks. I was just slung off the internet and forced to embrace this new driving theory test dvd that my dad bought. Heh. Just when I thought my night couldn't get any better.

Actually, the lady who reads every single thing on the screen did give me and my brother a good laugh. And laughing is good for you, apparently. I do feel a little better.

And fish? I don't think I could work with fish. Well, dead fish anyways. Can't stand the smell of meat. But alas, you may be braver than I am.

And once again twg reduces a boy to tears. Don't worry Matt, I remember the first dozen times she did that to me as though it were yesterday.

Oh yeah, I was going to have quality time here today. Yup, that was the plan. That sound of thunder you heard this morning? God laughing.

7am: Have to get up to get puppy out and give Lucy her eye medication. Discover I am probably about two hours late with the getting the puppy out part.

9.30am: Woken from sleep by phone call. "No, they're not here. Yes, I'll tell them. Yes. Okay. Bye now."

9.36am: Who was that on the phone just now? What were they saying?

10.30am: Phone call on mobile for me. A friend of the family wants me to fix their computer. Today. Uh huh.

11.00am: Dog walking.

12.30pm: Discover I have left my laptop's battery at the client's yesterday.

2.00pm: Finally manage to leave house to do shopping. Buy stuff I'm only vaguely sure I want.

4.00pm: Back from shopping. Clean up after animals. Put shopping away while dogs help by pulling at it.

6.00pm: Watch cricket. Think it an apt reflection on my day - too sporadic to be enjoyed as sport and the result isn't going the right way.

8.00pm: Eat pizza. Not as good as the box promised.

10.00pm: Play Halo2 for the first time in a few weeks. Lose two rankings.

10.30pm: Start writing this post.

10.45pm: Realise this post is a) overlong, b) whinging about things that others would quite like to have (a big job, dogs, people that ask you for help, pizza), c) way too long.

Right, rant over, feel better now. At least I know tomorrow I'm going to be reduced to chauffeur/butler/cleaner/helper. Might as well bend over for destiny.

I've had such an easy day I feel guilty.

Well, almost.

I'll be vague.

Stuart: Wait! He's poking through your fingers!

TWG: Yes but am I poking through yours!?

Oh I'm laughing again!
