IMO ethics and online “Buzz Gauging/Non-scientific” polls are apples and oranges. If it was supposed to be a scientific poll then there are many things MSN could have done to prevent/reduce the number of multiple votes.
In part, the purpose of these polls is to gauge the amount of “buzz“ that is surrounding a film. This includes gauging how quickly word of the poll spreads among the fan base. It is obvious that “Corpse Bride” fans got an early start on the voting/multiple voting. If a certain fan base were to try and be ethical in one of these polls, it would only prove that the fan base wasn’t as excited about their film (or in some cases, not as large and not capable of high vote count).
Multiple voting in these entertainment polls is expected. If it wasn’t then they “Would” take steps to make it a poll that produced more “scientific” results.
Basically, it's all in good fun and let the most rabid fan base win!!!! :)

I agree that this poll is just for fun, and it probably won't matter if someone votes more than once.
However, I will not change my mind that doing so is wrong, and I won't do it.
I'd also like to think that most Browncoats have enough class to not rig a poll. That way, when Serenity wins, we know it's because it really is the most anticipated movie.

That's my point too - if we all vote once, and it still wins, we'll know that Serenity is genuinely anticpated by lots of people. I appreciate your argument that it's all good hype - but it's still false hype.
But hey, it's all a bit of fun anyway.
