But it doesn't take a ruttin' genius to figure out why, this time.

Other anticipated September films: "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride," (search) (Sept. 16) is an animated yarn featuring the voices of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (Sept. 16); Jodie Foster's "Flight Plan," (search) (Sept. 23) has ads that already have audiences on the edge of their seats; Reese Witherspoon stars in a romantic ghost flick "Just Like Heaven" (search) (Sept. 16); and "Oliver Twist" (search) (Sept. 23), Roman Polanski's fresh take on the Charles Dickens orphan-boy classic, featuring Ben Kingsley.
The report was posted on the FOXNEWS website. (The Associated Press and the New York Post's Lou Lumenick contributed to this report.)
I sent the nice folks an e-mail anyway, asking why SERENITY wasn't included on their list. hee hee.

If you mean "Coming Attractions", they (finally!)covered Serenity last week. I'd like to see a "Behind the Scenes" ep on the BDM, too.

It's all about favors and connections. Movies don't get mentioned if they're good, they get mentioned because:
- someone paid them to
- it will bring in product (viewers) for their advertisers
- they're returning a favor
If the crappy shows you guys are referring to actually had taste, and cared about what they were reporting on, 3/4 of the movies would independent flicks. But in this case, it's all about money and connections.

No,it was called "E!'s fall preview",i'm also wondering if STARZ(which I believe has exclusive rights to most Universal films)will air a special as well?

Where's the ad campaign? the only ads I've seen have been during the Firefly reruns on SciFi. other than that, I've seen the viral marketing bits on ifilms--but, weren't we told that there would be an actual ad campaign?

Figures FOX News wouldn't mention Serenity.
For that fact CNN did a short preview of comming attractions this September and Serenity also wasn't mentioned. Even a small broshure I get in my apartment failed to mention it.
Guess thats why we all need to do what we do best!
