OK, I have a question for you IT peeps. Having trouble with a printer, USB connection to PC. Get a message saying the job is being sent to the printer but it gets stuck around 40%. Now presumably if the printer wasn't connected properly it wouldn't even get as far as sending the job? Have tried reinstalling & have also tried the printer on another computer - no joy. And yet the helpful support people insist it must be a problem with the computer, not the printer.
So...anyone?

but if you tried it on another computer and it did the same thing, surely it must be the printer?

Yeah, you'd think so eh?! It's one of those printer-scanner things and the scanner works, therefore there can't be anything wrong with the machine. Apparently....
I am so tired of computers, printers, idiots in the workplace....Thank heavens I've got Friday off. Short working weeks give me the strength to go on!

I'm heading to work , so I won't be able to help...does the printer even print a test page? I think that's a good place to start. Does it work at all?
Check your drivers.
The USB cable.
Is there paper? Is there ink, you know all the silly stuff.
And then I'd say ask Sean!

Hey, im home from another tough day at school.
They cut my one and only lesson ten minutes short, so I lazed around in the common room for a couple hours.
