There will be a behind-the-scenes type show about Serenity airing on the SciFi channel on September 27, 2005 at 10 PM EDT (9 Central).

Do you know if this is the same as the making of the show feature on the DVD's or is it new material? Maybe with Serenity stuff included?

The show is new material--it's about the movie Serenity, not Firefly.

That is also the same day they will be having a Firefly marathon, "Serenity" (12noon Eastern time) through "Ariel" (9pm Eastern), with the special airing at 10pm and repeating at 1am.

thanxz for that info.. i know what i'll be doin' watchin scifi and sayin' to hell with all staff meeting at work (seein' as i have the day off and that is also payday.. i mean i knew that there was going to be a behind the scenes special, but didn't know bout the marathon til now. 10hrs of (one of the) best damned shows on TV.
