Sorry if this has been noted before, but has anyone ever noticed that besides being a clever combination of Chinese and US flags the Alliance flag also resembles a closed fist?

Plus...anyone ever noticed the "Union Jack" in Serenity's cargo hold? Joss does love the UK so it kinda figures.
