Hey peeps! *waves madly*
Now that there are lots of you here, I really need some info. Sorry to move this back on-topic again for a moment (I promise to make up for it with really good movie puzzles, as I've played versions of this game before), but...
Has been nail-biting tension over here for the past few days as you lot waved your flashy Serenity2 tickets about. Basically I was a bit worried because I bought my ticket online late into the game, and though I was given an order id, my online banking statement showed that my credit card hadn't been debited yet even after 2 weeks (as by usual online shopping logic, missing money = secured ticket), and they weren't responding to my gazillion e-mails.
Anyway had to make an international call, but it was worth it as they confirmed that my tickets were posted yesterday. Hooray. My ticket numbers like 500+ something, but that's ok as I'm attending my first con! Woot.
So I'm calling to book my hotel room at the Raddison tomorrow, and am also trying to get some cheap flights down from Edinburgh. So my question is to all you folks who have tickets and event booklets: what time do things kick off on the Friday? There are painfully early morning flights from Edinburgh down, and not so painful ones later on that day, so I'm just trying to get an answer before prices shoot up...
Unless of course someone is like... driving down from Scotland. *bats manly eyelids*

Aureliano i wouldn't worry about it. My debit card didn't get debited for about a month i think. It took a long time, the time between when i ordered and when it was finally taken off. I wouldn't worry. I'm sure your ticket will come through.
oh and according to the leaflet thingie that came with my ticket, apparently things kick off in the evening, about 5-ish on friday. registration and what nots, but i think a lot of here are heading there about 1-ish, am i right?

registration usually opens at 3pm on the friday, and the photo tickets go on sale then too
but rarely is there anything before 3pm
