Minear and Whedon hint at something, is it Firefly?

That's the point. You'll be waiting in suspense on the edge of your seat, waiting to pee yourself and then Joss will leak something. If it's authentic. Sorry, a little pessimistic.

I say, and I mean this sincerly, ignore it. That way if it isn't firefly you don't get let down, and if it is then you get to experiance the joy of being suprized by good news when you hear a real anouncement.

I, for one, would love to see Firefly return, but I think some people are reading too much in the "lit" part. Joss saying "relit" could mean anything, like "Angel" returning or his long-awaited "Buffy" cartoon series. To think the "lit" as a codeword for Firefly; we are hoping for too much. We have to remember, in Hollywood, Firefly is damaged goods. No matter what. Unless some network executive or studio chief actually believe in the project, then we have hope...for somekind of vehicle. We all know Joss wants to give Firefly another try, but in the real world, he knows this will be a hard sell. Fox screwed this show up for him.

Hmm. I never thought that "re-lit" could mean the Buffy cartoon going back into pre-production. But I think a "Firefly" movie is more likely at this time, although I'm hoping the Buffy cartoon will be resurrected in a few years.
I don't think they're talking about "Angel." Joss and pretty much everyone else are expecting "Angel" to get renewed. Besides, the fifth season wouldn't start filming in July.
I suppose he could be planning to make a movie based on a random script he wrote a while ago, or possibly a script he was planning to write, but I am convinced that it is a "Firefly" movie.

The thing that keeps standing out, or at least in my mind, is that he has kept his two leads busy elsewhere in his productions. Granted, he had said that he was going to keep them around, but was that because he had some production tricks up his sleeve, or contractual obligations?
However, Freud did say that "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".
I just don't know.
