Minear and Whedon hint at something, is it Firefly?

I posted a link at Whedonesque about the recent Angel convention in England.
Now the link was to the BBC Buffy website and they reported that
"Joss Whedon, planned as a surprise guest, had to drop out at the last minute, due to 'one of his projects being greenlighted'."
One of the posters at Whedonesque clarified this by saying
"As I heard it (I was there, missed the video, heard from people who had seen it though) he didn't say "greenlighted", he said "relit". Lit. Fire. Fly. It must be. Gotta be. Please."
Now someone asked Tim Minear at alt.tv.angel about this
I was over to UMTA and read that Joss had a video at End of Days where he implied that something came up to keep him from the convention because it had become "relit". Can you cast a little "light" on that?<<
To which Tim replied
Yes, I can. No, I won't. ;)
So that's as much as I can find out, but my gut instinct says that this is all to do with Firefly. Sorry if this post is a bit long but I thought you guys might like to know.

The "lit" jumped out at me, too. A nod and little note to all of us who've been hanging on since December.
Probably we can't say we're good people we're outta the woods yet, but we're definitely too pretty for Joss to let us die.

When was the last time you said re-lit and what was the context?
I don't think I've ever said re-lit, and it ain't in the dictionary.
Re-lit is CODE for Firefly's rebirth. It's big fat yellow hiney will be lighting up the screen in no time!
And can you imagine how EXCITED Joss would be if it were true? He'd have to give us all some kind of clue. No offense, but if you can't see the giant CLUE there... you don't know Joss.

If you were asking me Gambit, yes, I'm here everyday, but I've been lurking mostly.
I used to post prodigiously, but kinda lost my touch. Tried posting again, and came off as snarky and juvenile. Not too worried about the juvenile, but snarky isn't me, so I'm waiting til I get my vibe back.
