Okay, so I've taught myself the basics of fan vidding. I've even made one. It's a purty one, all Kaylee. I like it.
Okay, the picture quality isn't that great and it's probably really awkward editing wise, but it's my first vid and I'm proud of it.
The only problem is... I used Windows Movie Maker, which was easy enough for my first go, but it refused to save it as a media file. It can only be saved as a media project...
Which means I can't share it. And I really want to.
The little help box just keeps telling me to check if there's enough space on the HD (which there is) and that the original source files are where they're supposed to be (which they are).
So what else can I do?
Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

If you're using WMM2 under the Movie Tasks pane go to the Finish Movie section and choose "Save to my Computer". That will bring up the "Save Movie Wizard". From there you will get to decide how to save you project as a movie, what quality, and what size of file.
It's pretty easy.

Thanks for replying.
I was doing that, but the wizard kept refusing to save it.
I eventually found a way around it (annoying, but it worked), by splitting the vid into two, saving them separately(apparently 3 minutes is too long) and then re-importing them and putting the two halves together with the song afterwards.
Now my problem is finding a site to host it, apparently it's too big to go onto my site.
