a question from a woefully ignorant person here...

I would *love* to make a fan vid, I have a few ideas on how to do it.

I know how to do the vid editing once I have the right vid clips, add the music, the effects, etc...

I even have the means to get the clips from my DVD (DVD shrink is foolproof so far).

The problem being that the clip files are saved as DVD movie files, which can't be read by the vid editor.

I downloaded the EO converter, which looks real shiny... but it won't read the DVD movie files, either.

Is there something I'm missing? How do I convert the vid clips from DVD to something I can use?

Pretty, pretty please with strawberries and engine grease on top?
